SWIFT Compliance Tab Changes

The changes to the SWIFT Compliance Tab are active as of 3/22/2022. Please read more about the update below.

Within SWIFT, regarding the Compliance tab pertaining to the use of human subjects, we will be upgrading SWIFT field changes in order to more easily comply with our required JHU IRB concurrence checks when the use of human subjects is involved with the subrecipient effort.

Please review the new screenshot below showcasing the SWIFT enhancements.

If you indicate “yes” for the use of human subjects on the subaward effort, the field will cascade open to ask:
- Which IRB is overseeing the use of human subjects on this subaward effort? <select the correct radio button>

AND

Please provide the JHU IRB application/protocol number

AND

Please provide the sub’s active FWA# with an active IRB# associated
- A web link is provided to the FWA website to search for the subrecipient FWA number (with an active IRB).
