Guidelines for Using Johns Hopkins Medicine Research Resources

If you plan to use the resources of Johns Hopkins Medicine (JHM), such as access to patients and/or healthcare workers, biospecimens, or data, you will need to submit a request for approval to the JHM Clinical Research Coordinating Committee (CRCC) here.

Approval to proceed with your COVID-19 related research will have to be secured from this committee before you can commence your research.  Access to JHM resources are not guaranteed. Therefore, if approval is not obtained prior to submission of proposal, there is a possibility that if approval is ultimately not secured this proposal may have to be withdrawn.

Due to the volume of requests, the CRCC requires a minimum of two weeks to review an application for approval. Please contact your research administration representative if you have any questions.
